"Every human being, of whatever origin, of whatever station, deserves respect. We must each respect others even as we respect ourselves."

It is very profitable for low income communities to grow and use bamboo. This site allows community development projects to have marketplace for their products. This will also promote and facilitate traditional and nontraditional bamboo based artisans. Bamboo is a plentiful, renewable natural product and without doubt, one of the most important non-wood forestry products available. It is a versatile resource, offering a high-quality alternative to wood.

Selling products of high quality is essential but we also want to make sure we know where our products are coming from. The companies listed here have high standards for their workers wellbeing insist on a safe workplace and/or help their workers in ways which are supporting. We also believe that it is the workers/craftspeople who are the most important part in the production of our products and we take the time to meet them and express our thanks on a regular basis. Showing a little appreciation can go a long way and give the workers a product to take pride in.

The first picture is of one of the head builders. He is responsible for building all of the prototypes for our Bamboo furniture line. The other two pictures are the factory where our furniture is made.
